Your Job

As supply chain / logistics manager, you will have experience in:

 

  • Implementing approved procurement department policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner and to ensure the team complies with it.
  • Supervising, guide and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures.
  • Identifying qualified suppliers for material, analyze price proposals, financial reports, budget and other data to prepare techno-commercial comparison sheet to evaluate the quotations.
  • Meeting with suppliers to discuss the requirements of the offered quotation and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions.
  • Maintain quality records for all purchase orders, items, purchased costs, delivery, product performance and inventories.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to maximizing the value of investments while minimizing risk and liability exposure.
  • Work closely with Finance,  Production, R&D management, to ensure all requirements and budgets are met.
  • Designing and implementing system and procedures related to procurement.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge and awareness of local & international supply markets and vendors. Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance and Maintain and update vendor database system.

 


Your skills and experience

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance or  Engineering or equivalent course
Combination of education and experience

Certified Supply Chain Manager Certification Considered an asset

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
5 years in a supply chain or procurement/logistics role

  

Supply Chain Manager requirements and qualifications

  • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for (5) years
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as AX 2012, etc.)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
