General Responsibilities::
  • Ensure all project management activities for the projects in the area of responsibility are developed and executed in accordance with process, contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.
  • Coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to support long-term effectiveness of project management teams.
Main Responsibilities::

Leads the project management department and supports the definition of the project task force organization by assigning project engineers/managers and contract administrators to projects based on competencies, customers, and availability. Develops the project managers in line with Inma Steel processes.

 

Participate in the budgeting process and provide finance and management with all reports in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.

 

  • Supervises project execution and performance through scheduled project review with management and project engineers/managers to ensure adherence to contract. Ensure necessary approval from management for any project deviations (costs or technical-operational solutions), takes an active role in escalated customer issues and determines corrective actions to optimize the project performance.
  • Achieving the defined project goals and improving the project margins.
  • Efficiently managing the revenues, collection, cash flow and EBIT targets. Ensures the regular Project Reviews and reporting both.

 

Builds and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Report on revenues planning, resource planning, project execution, and other project management issues. Serves as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues.

 

In agreement with project controlling and finance, approves projects to be closed and estimates the guarantee costs.

 

Leads the project engineers/managers in project execution making sure that procedures and standards are followed. Develops and improves standard processes and ways of working by applying external best practices with internal environment and experience.

 

Cooperates with supply management in supplier selection and monitoring ongoing performance. Ensures that other functions (engineering/commissioning/supply chain) assign the appropriate resources and competencies for the specific project.

 

Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.

 

Ensures (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Oversees assessments and ensures proper certification of project managers, PMP certified Project Manager.

  • Operate in an environment of triple constraint (time, cost, and quality) to manage the projects. Operations by coordinating and controlling the projects management team and coordinating with different department.
  • Set a system & procedure to achieve precise forecast of revenues & operating Cash flow.  
  • Supervises a Weekly project review with project managers to ensure adherence to contract milestones.
  • Ensure ordering material in accordance with Project schedule.
  • Tight deadlines and with modifications / enhancements
  • Controlling the cost overruns and optimization to improve the bottom line.
  • Define the right order of priority considering the input from external and internal functions involved.
  •  Ensures the smooth coordination among various department.
Experience:

 

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in similar role.
  • Good experience with EPCs and Aramco, SABIC, MAADEN.
  • Good in defining and mitigating the risk, contractual and operations knowledge.
  • Manage technical meetings with customers, elaboration of engineering documents at the customer site.
  • Co-ordinate projects activities between internal & external parties.
  • Optimize projects costs & supervise deadline.
  • Prepare projects reports.
  • Employee shall also carry out any task that is assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Good knowledge - MS Office, Primavera, and MSD 365.
  • Good in Networking, Flexibility and team building capabilities.
  • A person with high degree of initiative, pro-activeness, and solution-oriented work style
  •  Languages: English & Arabic is preferred.
Qualifications:

BSC. Degree in Engineering preferably mechanical.
