Main Job Purpose:

Responsible for implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.

  • Conduct OHS training for new drivers to prepare them for their job responsibilities.

  • Perform risk assessment and enforce preventative measures to prevent any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

  • Record and investigate workplace accidents and injuries to determine causes and refer them to the proper authorities.

  • Guide and support employees on various safety-related topics to ensure all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.

  • Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations to determine causes and document any actions taken.

  • Conduct ongoing review of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures.

  • Supervise the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials to minimize risks and limit people's exposure to them.

  • Perform periodic inspections of fire systems and daily vehicle inspection using safety checklist to ensure their compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor branch AVL to check vehicle over speeding/misuse and produce AVL reports.

  • Ensure that all company employees meet all OHS requirements to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

  • Conduct regular and emergency inspection Accommodations and employees’ rooms to make sure they are following Safety and Company procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • Education

    • Diploma in Relevant Field

    • Certificate in occupational health and safety (OSHA)

  • Experience

    • 2 Years of Experience in same scope
