As a Quality Management Representative you are responsible for the ISO 9001:2008 standard allocates three duties: ensure Quality Management System processes are “established, implemented and maintained”, report to “top management” on the QMS performance and where improvements are needed, ensure that everyone in the organisation is aware of customer requirements.
Other Duties and responsibilities:
Coordinates with Regional QMRs to establish annual QMS Audit Plans at all factories, updating them, if required, based on audit findings.
Follows up on timely conduct of internal QMS audits according to approved annual audit plans to ensure implementation.
Updates QMS checklists, as required, to reflect system changes and to focus on weak area and on functions of strategic importance.
Monitors adequate consideration of Observations, timely implementation of corrective/preventive actions, review their effectiveness to formally close out Non Conformance Reports.
