Description
We at Arkaz are looking to hire a Plant Engineer for our Dammam facility. The plant engineer will look after and enhance on-ground production and maintenance operations and will be the key link between multiple departments. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
As a Plant engineering you will be responsible for overseeing the production application in the plant, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and mechanical system; investigate, evaluate, and determine replacement or modification to parts of the system to mechanically function and meet production and performance specification.
The requirements are: Monitor the plant equipment, mixers and manage the team.
Key Duties & Related Job Experience
Key Duties:
- 
    
- Responsible for Plant daily operations
 - Responsible for Production Planning, Inventory, and warehouse management
 - Sufficient availability of resources for inbound and outbound shipment handling
 - Manage plant and external warehouses
 - Fulfill all the necessary requirements of MODON, PME and other government bodies
 - Maintain equipment maintenance plan and arrange contracts with external maintenance service providers
 - Know how of quality management system ISO9001, ISO14001
 - Plant Housekeeping
 - Vendor communication for Plant equipment relates inquires
 - Scheduling Preventive maintenance, keeping maintenance records and preparing plans
 - Availability of Spares parts (Critical & Regular)
 - Full & Deep Understanding of machines, necessary troubleshooting
 - Broad knowledge of critical & other plant spares vendors
 - Ensure sufficient availability of raw material for production and co-ordinate with R&D for any changeovers
 - Team Building & Developing team competence

Educational & experience Requirements
- 
    
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
 - 3-5 year experience in manufacturing setup
 - Certification in Six Sigma or CPIM
 - Knowledge about GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
 - Prior experience in Dashboards (Power BI, Qlik)
 - Safety certification is plus
