Description

We at Alturki Holding are looking to hire a Plant Engineer for our Jeddah facility. The plant engineer will look after and enhance on-ground production and maintenance operations and will be the key link between multiple departments.  This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

As a  Plant engineering you will responsible for overseeing the production application in the plant, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and mechanical system; investigate, evaluate, and determine replacement or modification to parts of the system to mechanically function and meet production and performance specification.

 

The requirements are: Monitor the plant equipment, mixers and manage the team.

Key Duties & Related Job Experience
Key Duties:

 

  • Create and follow routine production plans to ensure product availability.
  • Follow the asset management systems to improve plant reliability and availability
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs ensuring minimum downtime.
  • Analyze machinery downtime causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain plant utilities systems to ensure safe, secure and efficient operations.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with legally required and routine inspections.
  • Manage production team’s performance and development.
  • Ensure that maintenance records are kept in accordance to the set standards.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth execution of plant operations.
  • Adhere to factory policies in place e.g. EHS, emergency response, etc

 Related Job Experience:

 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a plant or maintenance engineer managing a maintenance team.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc (ERP knowledge will be a plus)
  • Good interpersonal relations


Educational Requirements

 

  • Be a holder of Mechanical Engineering degree (Master’s degree will be a plus)
Other requirements

 

  • Must have a valid and transferable IQAMA.
  • Must be available immediately.
