Job Summary

The accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Transactions

  • Record and process daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

  • Ensure proper classification and coding of transactions in the general ledger.

  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to maintain accuracy.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection.

  • Prepare and send excel sheet for payment processing from KSA.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.

Compliance, TAX and Auditing

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

  • Prepare and file VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other statutory returns in accordance with ZATCA requirements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

  • Stay updated on accounting standards like IFRS and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance.

  • AC / ACCA full or partial

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

  • Experience with MSD365 ERP systems is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of KSA ZATCA tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, and Transfer Pricing (TP).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
