Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, SOCPA, ACCA, or CTP preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/treasury, with 3–5+ years in a senior controllership leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Zakat/tax regulations in KSA, SAMA guidelines, and preferably also treasury management systems
• Experience with banking negotiations, cash pooling, FX risk management,
• Experience in enhancing ERP systems
• Experience navigating GOSI, WPS, and Nitaqat requirements
• Fluency in English required; Arabic
Key Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Lead Tahreez’s controllership and treasury functions, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, robust internal controls, effective cash and liquidity management, and full compliance with Saudi regulatory and tax requirements (ZATCA, SOCPA-endorsed IFRS).
Controllership
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle; ensure financial statements comply with IFRS as adopted by SOCPA
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls; manage relationships with external auditors and regulators
• responsabile of all end to end accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll (including GOSI/WPS compliance), general ledger, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings, including VAT and Zakat/corporate tax filings with ZATCA
• Advise on accounting treatment for new contracts, products, or business lines
• Foster automation of transaction activities
Treasury
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity across all entities/accounts
• Oversee banking relationships, facilities, and credit lines; negotiate terms with local and regional banks
• Manage FX exposure, hedging strategies, and intercompany funding/loans
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations and banking covenants
• Optimize debt structure and capital allocation in coordination with the CFO
• Oversee investment of surplus cash in line with board-approved policies
Leadership & Reporting
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, financial planning, and decision support
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting and treasury team
• Drive process automation and ERP/TMS optimization
• Report financial performance, cash position, and risk to the CFO and executive leadership; support board/audit committee reporting as needed
