Your Job

As a Safety Officer / Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the implementation of health and safety standards across all work sites, monitoring compliance, identifying risks, and promoting a strong safety culture. You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and support the organization in maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Management
Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures across all operations

Inspection & Audits
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance

Risk Management
Identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures

Incident Investigation
Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions

Training & Awareness
Deliver safety training programs and promote safety awareness among employees

Reporting
Prepare safety reports and track corrective actions

Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards

Your skills and experience

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field

Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in health and safety or a related field

Knowledge
Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment, and incident investigation

Language Proficiency Level A
Must communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, prepare reports, and understand safety standards

License Requirement
Driving license is preferred

Competencies
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving ability, and effective communication skills
