Your Job
As a Supervisor – Electrical, you are responsible for overseeing electrical systems operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution and lighting systems. You will supervise teams, ensure system reliability, maintain compliance with safety standards, and support planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Operations Supervision
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in buildings and facilities
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform and supervise preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults
Power Systems Management
Manage three phase and single phase systems, motors, and generators
Emergency Systems
Maintain and ensure proper operation of emergency generators and backup systems
Technical Review
Read and interpret electrical drawings and maintenance manuals
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
Planning & Scheduling
Plan maintenance activities and manage work schedules effectively
Your skills and experience
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role in a related field
Knowledge
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including distribution systems, motors, generators, load calculations, panel boards, and protection systems
Language Proficiency Level B
Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, write simple reports, and understand most safety rules
License Requirement
Driving license required
Competencies
Strong technical skills, troubleshooting ability, knowledge of safety standards, and planning and supervisory capability
