Role

The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests in a fine dining setting, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure. The role manages reservations and guest flow, working closely with the service team to keep seating efficient and service standards consistently high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and ensure an exceptional fine dining experience from arrival to departure.

  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.

  • Coordinate with service staff to optimise table availability and guest flow.

  • Assist guests with inquiries, menu information, and special requests.

  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.

  • Support restaurant promotions, special events, and guest engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School certificate or Diploma required; a Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or Guest Relations staff, preferably in fine dining or luxury hospitality.

  • Hands-on experience with restaurant reservation systems is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
